Free Goal-Setting Worksheet Printable

Most goals fail for a fairly boring reason, which is that they all come from the same part of life. Our free goal setting worksheet fixes that by asking you to set goals across five areas: Self-Care, Relationships, Personal Development, Resources and Vocation.

Work through each one and write down what you want to be true a year from now. Then map out how you'll get there quarter by quarter. Seeing all five side by side does something a single-focus goal list can't, because it shows you immediately if you've written four career goals and nothing at all about your health or your people or your money.

This goal setting template works for a new year, a new quarter, a birthday, or any point where you'd rather reset deliberately than keep drifting. Balance isn't about doing everything at once. It's about not accidentally ignoring an entire part of your life for twelve months without noticing.

Download and print this printable goal setting worksheet on 8.5" x 11" paper. We've written about How to Set Yearly Goals and The Importance of Goals That Cultivate Balance if you want more.

If you like this printable, you'll also like our free Goal Action Plan for breaking one goal into steps. Our Monthly Goal Tracker follows all of them through the year, and our Free Intentions Printable covers the softer version of the same exercise.
