I absolutely love the Lemon 🍋 Floral Sage design on this year's Day Designer Clipfolio.
However, I was a bit disappointed with the finish. The previous clipfolios over the last 2 years had a gorgeous glossy coating that made them feel a bit more durable and high-end; this one has more of a matte feel. (Oh I should’ve 🤦🏻♀️ read the full description before ordering-LOL).
Additionally, 😕mine arrived without the cellophane wrapping I've come to expect at $22.00, which helps keep the covers pristine during 📦 shipping.
👍🏼 It’s still functional and stylish, but I’d love to see the return of that glossy finish and protective packaging next year.

I am absolutely in L🌹VE with the pattern! The colors are stunning and arrived just in time for spring.

The Good:
* Belle Vie Pattern: The floral design is vibrant and the perfect seasonal upgrade.
* Functionality: As always, Day Designer delivers on the sturdy paperboard construction and the signature notepad that makes staying organized so easy!
My Only Wishes:
* The Finish: While the current finish is designed to prevent scratching, I really miss the glossy texture from last year’s clipfolios. There's something about that high-shine look that feels extra premium.
* Packaging: I was also hoping to see this with cellophane like previous releases. It adds that extra layer of "fresh out of the box" protection and makes it feel a bit more special for gifting (or just for myself!).
Overall, it’s a beautiful addition to my collection, but I’d love to see a return to those glossy, cellophane-wrapped finishes in the future!

I use these to jot notes constantly for classes online, working in-house and remote, and the little pocket folder inside helps to keep my important papers with me. The clipboard function is perfect for weekly tasks and to-dos which helps me stay on track since it’s the first thing I see. The glossy covers are super sturdy and robust!
