Free Time Blocking Schedule Printable
Time blocking is the productivity method most likely to actually work, and it's a simple idea. Instead of working from an open to-do list all day, you group similar tasks together and give each group a block of time on the calendar.
Our free time blocking template lays the whole week out hour by hour so you can see your blocks in context. Deep work goes in the morning if that's when you think best. Meetings get stacked together instead of scattered. Errands land on one afternoon rather than four. Once it's on the page, two things get obvious very fast: how many hours you actually have, and how many of them are already claimed.
You can use this weekly time blocking planner to protect focus time, or just to find out where the week is going. We'd suggest filling in the first few weeks in pencil, because the goal is a schedule you'll keep rather than a perfect one.
Download and print this free time block schedule template on 8.5" x 11" paper. Our post on What is Time Blocking? walks through it step by step.
