Free Quick Fixes for When You Feel Overwhelmed Printable

When everything feels like too much at once, a complicated system is the last thing that helps. Our free printable gives you 24 quick fixes, which are small specific things you can do in a few minutes to take the edge off.

Some of them are physical, like stepping outside, drinking a glass of water, or putting your shoes on and walking to the end of the block. Some clear a bit of mental space, like writing down the three things that are actually bothering you or dealing with the smallest task on the list just to feel something move. Others are simply permission to stop, or to say no, or to leave it until tomorrow.

The reason it's on paper is that being overwhelmed makes it hard to think of any of this in the moment. Having the list already written means you don't have to. Keep it in a drawer or on the fridge, and use it when you need it.

If you like this printable, you'll also like our free Brain Dump Worksheet for getting everything out of your head. Our Self-Care Habit Tracker is the longer-term version, and our 39 Ways to Treat, Fulfill & Recharge Yourself has ideas for what to do with the time.

If you're finding that overwhelm is persistent rather than occasional, it's worth talking to your doctor or a mental health professional. A printable is a good tool for a hard week, but it isn't a substitute for real support.
