One word, chosen deliberately, can shape a year better than a list of resolutions does. Our free Word of the Year printable helps you find yours.

Rather than handing you a blank page, it gives you a curated list of words the Day Designer community has chosen over the years, plus a few of our own favorites. Print it out and read through it slowly. Circle what resonates and cross out what doesn't, then keep narrowing until one word keeps pulling you back. That's usually the one you're looking for.

Then put it somewhere you'll actually see it, like the first page of your Flagship Planner or the inside of a cabinet door. A word of the year worksheet only does anything if you come back to it, so check in at the end of each month and ask yourself whether the way you spent your time looks anything like the word you picked.
