Pen Loop Clip

I agree with reviewers that say that it slides down / is not so secure, though not enough that it falls off by merely handling the planner. I imagine if the pen loop clip attached to a planner or any other type of booklet was rattled around in a bag while driving or walking, it could fall off or if you just choose to play around with the pen loop by trying to slide it or remove it. It does fit chunkier pens, even if needing to use more effort to push in. I place the "curved" part of the metal clip in the front of the planner, so it does not dig into the insider of the planner; I wish that both sides were flat and did not curve up. I'm also personally not a fan of logos / designs on my planner accessories and not a fan of how the logo looks, though it's alright. I looked up pen loops on other websites where they are sold, and it seems quality of pen loops are about the same as this one or even not as adequate. Personally having a pen loop clip is worth it for me than not having one at all, and while this is mediocre in my opinion based on an imagined standard of pen loop clip qualities I have in my mind, the usefulness of it will have me continue using this pen loop clip and just deal with the cons of it; I'm glad I did not buy more than one after all, though based on my research, this pen loop clip is the best one if not one of the better ones out there, bummer.

A pen clip is a must for me especially for such a high quality planer. However, I am a bit disappointed with this one. The gold color is not matching the gold of the rings and the corners of my planer. It is less shiny and less yellow but has more of a matt gold tone with a shade of bronze. It is just a clearly different material. Also the clip does not stay in place but I often readjust it after taking the pen out. My pen is not very thick and not stretching the band but it has a clip on the cap. This is not much force on the band when I take the pen off but it already moves the clip. The clip is very rounded and touches the planer only on a small area. A flatter clip design would maybe stay in place better - and look better, too.
